-Born in Hokkaido. Due to this she often missed rehearsals in 2015 and early 2016.
-Prior to joining Hello! Project Kenshuusei (22nd gen), Ami participated in the Morning Musume '14 Golden Audition!, made it to the finals, but failed to enter the group. She was only a kenshuusei for 5 months before joining Tsubaki Factory.
-Her favorite colors are white, black, pink, yellow, yellow-green, and light blue. Her skill is being able to sleep anywhere. Her hobbies are listening to music, watching concert DVDs really loudly in a dark room, observing people and movie appreciation. Her favorite food is yakitori. Her favorite sports are soccer, basketball, and baseball and her favorite genre of music is J-pop and K-pop.
-Because she was only a kenshuusei for 5 months, she struggled the most in the beginning. She found it hard to learn dances, stick to the rhythm and ended up injuring her foot. However she quickly caught on and now has no trouble keeping up.
-She's considered to be the loudest in Tsubaki Factory. As her laugh and voice are very loud.

-She's a big baseball fan and often goes to baseball games. Fans have compared her to Makino Maria because of this.
-She wants to do lots of work outside of being an idol, and have her name known.
-Has always had long brown hair, however in 2015 she cut her hair chin length and has kept it that length since then.
